SWIP UK aims to end discrimination against women in philosophy. To this end, we run a 'Good Practice Scheme' jointly with the British Philosophical Association. We also share resources including publications related to the work of SWIP UK, links to sister organisations internationally, and details of women in philosophy support groups in the UK. We also have our own Twitter: @SWIPUK
Good Practice Scheme.
The British Philosophical Association and Society for Women in Philosophy (UK) are pleased to support the SWIP/BPA Good Practice Scheme. The Scheme aims to assist UK philosophy departments, learned societies and journals in ensuring that they have policies and procedures in place that encourage the representation of women in philosophy. Full details of the Scheme can be found on its dedicated website.
